A Best Friend's Misery
Best friends are there when you need them the most. They will always be there for you no matter what. People who will never get angry at you... People you know will never judge you on the outside and they will never listen to what others bitch about you. People who will silently root for you even if you're far apart.
Now you know why my best friend means so much to me. Specially my 1st best friend. The one I got to know since sec 3 or 4... Vic. Those who read my previous blog would know who he is. He used to appear ever so frequently on my blog. Now he doesn't appear as often not because we have lost contact but because we have not met in a long long time. We used to meet each other almost every week. Soon he started his studies to become a hair stylist...
Days turned to months and we saw less of each other. Still contacted each other on phone regularly though. But as time passed, that too stopped. I think I am to blame.
Sorry my best friend... I have to apologise. I stopped calling you. There was this period of time I called each night and each night you were out with your significant other. I figured you were happy and I decided not to call. I thought to myself, "I'd call you once in awhile instead to catch up with your life."
Little did I know that your happiness would be short lived and I wasn't there to share your sorrow. I know you think I've been a lousy friend. I remembered this msn conversation we had... you said I have changed. I'm sorry if I have. I didn't do it on purpose. I been thinking about what you said daily and it troubled me.
I might have left you out and for that I truly apologise. I've missed you... the old times when we used to head to town all the time. Or the trips to sentosa. Been going to sentosa with my other friends too... but the times at sentosa with you was just as much fun. Maybe even more so.
I think we've missed out too much in each other's lives and there is a lot of catching up to do. Really hope we'll meet up soon.
Your best friend...
