Sentosa

Went to Sentosa quite alot lately... not sure for what. Went with Phil the 1st time round. Rizal so wanted to learn how to swim. His aim was to reach the platform between the beaches.

A few days later, on 2nd September Rizal asked me to Sentosa again. He desperately wanted to learn how to swim before going NS. I suggested the pool but I know how much he loved the beach so yupz, beach it is.

Went with Weiming who literally had a bad hair day. His hair which he dyed the night before started having problems. Dye from his hair started getting to his white shirt. It was raining and his hair was all wet.

I however, was teaching Rizal how to 'breathe' underwater. Was teaching him how to blow bubbles. I like his never-say-die attitude. He never gave up. He managed to do it in the end. So proud of him. Does that make me a good teacher?

Bumped into Faridah and gang at Pahlawan Beach. I heard they nearly drowned. They tried to reach the platform and apparently, Hisham couldnt swim. And when faridah tried to save him, he pushed her under water. The poor girl thought she was going to die. I wonder what the life guards were doing at that point of time. Too bad I wasn't around at that time... or I gould have helped.
