Smile brightens ur day
Boarded the 62 bus and was met by a smiling lady driver who greeted me a very good morning cheerfully. Didn't hear her at first due to my earphones in my ears but realised she was looking at me, so I took out my ear phones and she repeated her greeting.
"Good morning!"
I replied back with a smile. It's these little things that sometimes make me feel that there is still hope after all. Don't know what I'm talking about? Read my previous entry.
Before I alighted, I looked at the lady driver and waved her goodbye. She smiled and waved back.
Didn't see anyone else do that. Oh well... I love it when bus drivers smile at you as u board the bus and wish u good morning or afternoon or what so ever. It's a rarity.
My bro was asking me if I knew that lady and I told him that you didn't need to know someone to smile at the person. A smile goes a long way... you smile at one person, he smiles at another and in turn that person smiles at yet another person and it goes in a chain; the smiley chain i call it.
SO why don't you smile at the next person you see when you head out of your house next time? It might just make someone's day. =)
