Hear My Call
My mind have been blank the past few days. I actually do not know what to blog about. Is my life that boring? I don't think so. As quoted by a secondary school friend of mine(you know who you are), "If Idil compiles all his life stories into a book or make a drama serial it is bound to be a multi-platinum selling book or drama." SO i decided to look out the window and try to be inspired.
It's as if I have set my soul free
I stood there for what seemed the longest time
wind brushed against my cheeks
and forced the tears back in my eyes
I know you're there
I know you hear what's in my heart
How could you not for we are one
Blow wind blow
Lift me up from where I stand
Let me float with you
Let me see what birds can see
Embrace me
Skies turned red and clouds gathered
but the wind got stronger with each passing
What bliss to have the wind brush against my cheeks
I closed my eyes and used my ears
What's that I hear?
Is that you whispering to me out there?
I know you heard my call
I knew the wind would blow my message
Oh wind...
Embrace me
In the horizon the sky lit up
I watched as the sky lit up time and again
I whispered my last message to the wind
Dear wind, blow
Blow my message
Closed my eyes one last time
Hear the whispers I will
Embrace me
The sky lit brighter this time
Accompanied by a roar
My final warning I guess
The last gust blew
I shut the windows
My time with the wind is up
We'll meet again
Till then
I bid farewell

did you write that yourself? i'm impressed. really. i get so rhetorical in my poems sometimes the meanings just diffuse out of the words. simplicity sure has its edge, doesn't it?
have a great day. and a blogworthy one too!! =)
